Q: Where do you film? Do you travel?

A: Yes. We film across Jamaica (Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril, Kingston, Blue Mountains, Treasure Beach), the Caribbean (Montserrat, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, Trinidad), and Central America (Costa Rica, Panama, Belize). We're passport-ready and used to multi-day events.

Q: What styles of weddings do you cover?

A: Luxury destination weddings, intimate elopements, micro-weddings, multi-day celebrations (welcome party, rehearsal dinner, beach day, farewell brunch), and cultural weddings.

Q: How do we inquire and book?
A: Submit the form on our
Contact page or schedule a quick call. We'll align on vision, coverage hours, and deliverables, a signed agreement and a retainer to secure the date.

Q: Do you offer elopement packages?

A: Yes, streamlined elopement films with flexible coverage windows for sunrise or sunset, perfect for beaches and mountain villas.

Q: What's included in a standard collection?

A: Creative direction, on-site cinematography, professional audio, licensed music, colour-graded highlight film, social media teaser and optional documentary edits (ceremony, speeches). Deliverables are hosted online in 4K for easy sharing and download.

Travel, logistics, and venues

Q: How do travel fees work for Jamaica and the Caribbean?

A: Jamaica: simple, no travel fee needed across Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Kingston, Portland, Negril, Treasure Beach. Caribbean/Central America: economy airfare, 2-3 hotel nights (close to venue), ground transfers. We book early to keep costs lean.

Q: Are you familiar with the top Jamaican venues?

A: Yes, Rio Chico & Prospect Villas (Ocho Rios), Half Moon & Spring Farm (Montego Bay), Round Hill Hotel & Tryall (Hanover), Rock House & Ocean Cliff (Negril), Jake's (Treasure Beach), and Blue Mountains villas (Kingston) are among our favourites. We coordinate smoothly with planners and venue rules.

Q: Do you use drones?

A: Where permitted and safe. We follow local regulations, weather and no-fly zones. Some resorts require prior approval.

How we film (style, audio, and tech)

Q: What's your film style?

A: Natural, intimate storytelling that centres couples with family and genuine moments, clean composition, intentional pacing, and elegant colour.

Q: Do you record vows and speeches?

A: Yes. We mic key speakers' lapels and or tap into the main PA system's mixer and capture ambient sound for depth. Please loop in your planner/officiant for audio placement.

Q: Low-light and rain, are you covered?

A: Yes. We bring fast lenses and discreet lights for receptions; Our cameras are weather-sealed, so we have some wiggle room protection and backup plans for tropical showers.

Deliverables and timeline

Q: What films do we receive?

A: A signature highlight film (4-6 minutes typical), plus optional documentary-style cuts for full ceremony & toasts) and a 20-45 sec social media teaser. Optional reels/TikTok vignettes available if you want social-ready pieces.

Q: How do we receive our films?

A: Private online gallery with download in 4K Ultra HD. Long-term hosting is available. We can also provide a keepsake USB on request.

Rights, music, and raw footage

Q: Can we choose the music?

A: We license music legally for web/social. You're welcome to share genres/vibes; final selections must be licensable to protect your film from takedowns.

Q: Do you deliver raw footage?

A: Raw files are uncurated and very large. We offer raw transfer via physical hard drive add-ons for couples who want everything. Otherwise, we recommend our curated documentary edits.

Q: Can we post our film on social media?

A: Absolutely, just tag @thelunarlake. We provide social-ready versions on request.

Team, coverage, and timeline planning

Q: How many filmmakers come to the wedding?

A: Typically, 1-2 lead cinematographers plus an assistant when needed. Large/complex events may require an additional shooter for optimal coverage.

Q: How many hours do we need?

A: For a single-day wedding, 8–10 hours covers prep through reception formalities. Multi-day celebrations add coverage blocks per event (welcome, rehearsal, beach/boat day, farewell brunch).

Q: Do you work with planners and photographers?

A: Yes. We collaborate closely on timelines, lighting, audio, and movement so everyone gets what they need without crowding your moments.
